<image:title>About - Hello! - Shamim Rupani, much like Samrina, loves creating art projects and baking cookies in her home state of Texas. Shamim discovered her love of working with children during her time as a preschool teacher, but she also noticed there was a lack of diversity in books being read in the classroom. Shamim is excited to share her story of growing up as a mixed kid and hopes that it inspires other children to be proud of who they are. Mostly, though, she hopes children will see a part of themselves in her work.</image:title>

<image:title>About - Simply Samrina - Hi! My name is Samrina, and I’m proud to be a mixed kid—a product of two unique cultures and traditions. Even when other kids make fun of me for being different, I stand strong. I know those differences make me, me. I’m proud to be marvelously mixed! Join me as I introduce my family and learn how to use my words to help show others about where my family is from.</image:title>
